As the first of its brand to enter the Denver market, Le Méridien Denver Downtown offers mid-century modern sophistication infused with European energy and ambience in every aspect of the hotel’s service, amenities and aesthetic. That’s why an overnight at Le Méridien Denver Downtown has been on my bucket list for a while. It’s also centrally located amidst the hustle and bustle—and conveniently blends Colorado’s mountain culture with Denver’s contemporary features.
Right off the bat, I loved the fact that this 20-story, 272-room boutique hotel is just a short walk to the entertainment promenade as well as the city’s prestigious arts and culture district, which nicely ties in with the hotel’s exclusive perks for guests.

“Le Méridien Denver Downtown has the most amenities of any downtown hotel, we’re primely located near the popular Arts District and only steps from The Colorado Convention Center, allowing our guests to become explorers of the city,” says Niels Vuijsters, Le Méridien Denver Downtown General Manager. “For the art lovers, our Unlock ArtTM program allows guests to discover Denver’s most noteworthy cultural attractions using their Le Méridien keycard.”
On the décor front, the look and feel perfectly aligns with the Paris-born brand’s contemporary motif. More specifically, the interior showcases forward-thinking design elements and one-of-a-kind artworks by local Colorado artists. The vibe as a whole is modern and upscale, and interestingly, it’s touted as the most Instagrammable hotel in downtown Denver. Not to mention, if you’re looking for ways to capture all those special moments during your getaway, you can also look forward to 50% off house cocktails when you tag the hotel’s rooftop bar 54thirty on Instagram at sunset.

Eat & Drink
Corinne famously offers American comfort food with an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients. General Manager of Corinne Tobias Burkhalter says the three-course chef’s menu is one of their most popular requests. “Our Belly-On Pork Chop is phenomenal and is served with heirloom carrots, roasted brussels slaw, and cider-maple jus. Our Diver Scallops are also delicious and are served with roasted mushroom, spinach, mornay sauce, tarragon oil and sweet vermouth.”
After dinner, stop by the Lobbyist bar for sparkling cocktails and small bites—or take in the amazing views on the rooftop at 54thirty, which serves carefully crafted cocktails and globally inspired nibbles. Guests of Le Méridien Denver can purchase tokens to the hotel’s Moët & Chandon champagne vending machine (the only one in the state).
