1. Grand View Mountain Lodge & Restaurant

This cozy alpine inn boasts a rustic log cabin exterior that exudes comfort. Whether you need a place to relax or a home base for your adventures, this is a great spot to choose—and it’s conveniently close to town.

2. Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre

Every summer, over 1,200 actors audition for what Denver Post called Colorado’s premier summer musical company. High-quality Broadway musicals showcasing the nation’s top young talent rotate nightly Monday through Saturday.

3. Mountain Soul Wellness

This therapeutic spa specializes in noninvasive, energy-based alternative treatments, including vibroacoustic therapy on an InnerSoul Tranquility Liquid Sound Table.

4. The Stalk Market

This charming gift and floral shop carries handcrafted bath and body products, therapeutic- grade essential oils, scented candles, and fresh-cut flowers available by the stem or as premade arrangements designed by an expert.

More than just a great cup of coffee, this local hangout is where to go for espresso drinks, bagels, baked goods, local burritos, paninis, chili, and handmade ice cream from Miyachi’s—as well as beer and wine. Grab a seat on the patio and enjoy.

6. Never Summer Mountain Products

This family-owned outdoor apparel and sporting gear store has all sorts of ways to make your day at the lake complete, including inflatable SUPs, kayaks, and lifejackets. Plus, you can rent strollers and kid-carrier backpacks if need be.

7. One Love Rum Kitchen

Specializing in vibrant Caribbean cuisine, this groovy eatery is known for its cocktails, burgers, seafood, lunch, and service. The lobster tacos, octopus curry wrap, and jerk chicken sandwich are highlights, as is the Painkiller. The creamy rum cocktail is a standout on a menu of boat drinks designed to enhance the tropical vibe.

8. Grand Lake Marina

Since 1972, this historic marina has been a staple in Colorado water sports. Here, you can rent pontoons, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle sports, and more—reservations are highly recommended. The onsite Wake Coffee Shop, serving breakfast and lunch, is the only lakeside cafe in town.
