When it comes to having fun in the backcountry, nothing beats a side-by-side that’s equipped to handle even the toughest terrain. For action enthusiasts looking for something more, this powerful vehicle flexes the most factory horsepower money can buy in a sport side-by-side.
According to Jeremy Suchanek, Sales Manager at Fay Myers Motorcycle World, the 2022 Polaris RZR Pro R isn’t about one thing being better over another. It’s about challenging everything. “The all-new Pro R has an industry first 2.0L engine that is naturally-aspirated and delivers 225 horsepower,” he says. “With a welded one-piece cage, solid box chassis, stronger driveline and a larger belt, the RZR Pro R is built for the toughest terrain.”
This industry-first 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine powers the new 2022 RZR Pro R platform. This ProStar DOHC 16-valve, high-compression machine pumps out an industry-leading 225 hp off high-octane fuel. It uses a redesigned Polaris Variable Transmission (PVT) to transfer all that power to the tires; with a wider and longer belt working in conjunction with larger clutching surfaces to help strengthen the overall system.
How It Handles
The Sport and Premium trims include the Walker Evans 16-position adjustable front and rear shock absorbers. The front are 2.5-inch Velocity series while the rear increase to 3.0-inch. Note: The Polaris Dynamix DV selectable riding modes are unique to the RZR Pro R Ultimate vehicles and let drivers control how the Fox suspension reacts while navigating certain types of terrain. Both systems offer impressive amounts of wheel travel and vehicle control over rough and technical terrain.
Time for Fun
Equipped with all the bells and whistles, plus form and functionality, Suchanek says people can “live life wide open and have more time for family to get together and have fun.” Available in gray, blue, black and lime (pending trim), this new model will impress any active person with its versatility and eye-catching visuals.
