Reeb Cycles Sqweeb v4 Mountain Bike

Reeb Cycles’ newest release is terrific for any terrain.

Built in a barn in Lyons, Reeb Cycles takes their bikes a level beyond. Their 2022 suspension bike release, the Sqweeb v4, is the most versatile, American-built aluminum trail bike available. The bike can be configured in Short Travel Mode—130 mm, Long Travel Mode—150 mm and Mullet—160 mm.

Reeb leveraged manufacturing and design capabilities to develop a new frame that sheds weight and improves aesthetics. All the models are extremely tunable to handle everything from long days, exploring at altitude, races, the bike park or commuting around town. You can ride this bike on everything from steep, rocky terrain to a smooth, twisty singletrack.

The Barn Behind the Bike

Describing themselves as “unapologetic bike junkies” and “shameless gearheads,” the team at Reeb puts their whole heart into the operations. The Founder Dale Katechis opened the shop after his bike was stolen and he wanted something better than a bike-in-a-box replacement. So, he set out to open a shop where he would do it all by hand.

Previously home to Oskar Blues and Dale’s Pale Ale, the Lyons barn now houses Reeb Cycles where every piece of the bike is manufactured in the same barn to give better control over building, cost, quality and turnaround time. “Since our frames are manufactured, assembled and delivered from one rider to another, we’re able to build what our customers want rather than just following trends,” says Manager Tim Moore.

They keep the design and fabrication process close to the trails where they are tested meaning the bikes are perfectly made for Colorado terrain. “Our bikes have all been conceptualized from conversations on the trail or over a beer. It’s not just about making bikes though. The friendships we’ve made, the adventures we’ve shared and the fun-loving vibe of the whole Reeb crew, both employees and customers, make it real.”

Visit the Reeb team and bring your bike into the full-service bike shop at CyclHOPS Bike CANtina in Longmont for a full tuning plus a south-of-the-border menu featuring Pork Green Chili, Chicken Pozole Rojo, fajitas, tacos and more to pair with 20 craft beers and 43 premium tequilas.
