“We use organic botanicals in all of our infusions and syrups. We also use honey as a sweetener in a majority of our drinks.”—Jacasta Hanson, owner of Honey Elixir Bar

Can you tell us about the Euphoria Elixir ingredient?
It’s by a brand called Anima Mundi. Euphoria is an aphrodisiac elixir of herbs and botanicals meant to elevate your mood. It’s made with guarana seeds, catuaba bark, hibiscus flower, damiana leaf, goji berries and rose petals. A lot of our ingredients have nice digestive properties or are mood-uplifting or relaxing. Our drinks are a vibe.

What do you recommend pairing with the Petal Pusher?
Our Bruléed Chévre is so good. Goat cheese torched on top, served with some peach preserve and some crushed pistachios, and also some pesto. We serve it with sourdough toast that’s very delicious. The drink is nice and light, and this rich cheese is a perfect balance.

What’s Honey Elixir’s most popular drink?
Our shrubs are super popular. If you’re not familiar with shrubs, they’re made with fruit, vinegar and sugar that sit together and make this fun kind of syrup. Right now, we have the RiNo Shrub, which has a triple berry and sage shrub, lemon, and clover honey. We serve it mostly with blanco tequila or mezcal in a rimmed glass, so it’s kind of like a fruity margarita but with a shrub base.
