Visit Vail Village's swanky main drag.

1. Cos Bar
188 Gore Creek Dr.
This one’s for the makeup lovers. Cos Bar carries exclusive items that you can’t find at department stores. Even if you’ve been to the Aspen location, check this one out anyway—it has a few treasures unique to the Vail shop.

2. Vail Fine Wines
196 Gore Creek Dr.
For that bottle you can’t find at the grocery store, head here to consult the town’s foremost vino experts. Their extensive selection includes wine, beer, and mixers. Bonus: They deliver anywhere in Vail—and if you’re in the village, delivery is free!

3. Axel’s of Vail
201 Gore Creek Dr.
A true family affair, this western-chic boutique has graced the streets of Vail for almost 30 years. Axel and Janie Wilhelmsen started the company and their children, Candice and Axel Jr., model all of the products. “People come in here all the time just to get in touch with the Wilhelmsens,” says Lyssie Ropp, a sales associate. Their best-selling item? The “Guns & Roses” Jacket, which is satin-lined and made from genuine lambskin leather.

5. Up the Creek Bar and Grill
223 Gore Creek Dr. #103
Right on Gore Creek, this restaurant offers casual dining with a beautiful view. You can’t go wrong with any of its farm-to-table fare, but we recommend the Roasted Turkey and Brie sandwich. You can even finish your meal while you watch your kids play in the nearby river.

6. Kemo Sabe
230 Bridge St.
Find one-of-a-kind boots, western-style Louis Vuitton bags, and other exclusive designs at this unique shop, which can personalize almost anything. Expect the sales associates to bring you cocktails from their downstairs bar as you shop.

7. Lolo Rugs and Gifts
291 Bridge St.
If you stopped here just to say hi to the manager, Lily Isik, that would be enough; she will make your day. But you’ll also be wowed by the intricate chandeliers, bowls, jewelry, rugs, and bags, all handmade in Turkey.

8. Vendetta’s Italian Restaurant
291 Bridge St.
After a day on the slopes (or shopping in Vail Village), head to Vendetta’s for delicious Italian fare. We recommend the Roasted Salmon salad. If it’s nice out, don’t skip the patio for stunning views.
