Five Ways to Enjoy Denver Arts Week

This year, Denver Arts Week runs from Nov. 1 to 9. Here are five ways to make the most of it.

1. First Friday Art Walk

Seven districts around Denver will host art walks on Nov. 1: the Santa Fe Arts District (which will hold its annual Dias de los Muertos celebration), Belmar, the Golden Triangle, Arvada, RiNo, Tennyson, and the 40 West Arts District.

2. Free Night at the Museums

On Nov. 2, Visit one of sixteen museums around the city (including 12 along a free shuttle route) without paying admission.

3. Deals and discounts

Look out for deals and discounts around town all week. Museums and other art institutions will be offering discounted tickets and other promotions. The Denver Art Museum is offering an extra month free with the purchase of a one-year membership.

4. 3D projection art

A new art installation will be launching at the Daniels Clocktower on 16th street. From Nov. 7-9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., colorful artwork will be projected onto the tower to brighten up the chilly night and carry the spirit of the week.

5. Festivals

Catch the Denver Film Festival Oct. 31 to Nov. 11, and Denver Fashion Week Nov. 9 to 17.
