You don’t have to travel far to enjoy an upscale boutique-hotel experience with this new player in town. Clayton Members Club & Hotel opened with its kickoff in early May 2021—and ever since the property has seen its notoriety and membership base rise daily. However, not surprisingly. All you have to do is embrace the spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver from the rooftop. You won’t want to go home.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Clayton Members Club & Hotel to the Denver community,” says Aaron Coburn, general manager. “By merging the overnight guest experience with a diverse group of our local business, culture, and social leaders, we’re cultivating an experience that is deeper than what can be found anywhere else in the city.”

Stylish Digs

Located in ultramodern Cherry Creek North, Clayton’s guest rooms, studios, suites, and multi-level penthouse provide a luxurious staycation experience. In fact, the hotel was designed in collaboration with New York-based design firm AvroKO—and offers approximately 5,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space, as well as hyperlocal access to a thoughtfully-curated community, comprised of distinct backgrounds, interests, and culture.

Dining Options

Executive Chef Brandon Duley, who established his career in the Los Angeles food scene, brings fifteen years of experience and a philosophy of scratch-made, responsibly sourced food to the hotel. “I’m thrilled to be working with local partners like Kelly and the Noble Grain Alliance on behalf of Clayton,” says Chef Duley.

“We’re working on a master pita dough recipe that will be utilized in both Of A Kind and OAK Market. A one-of-a-kind pasta and pita program, exclusive to our property, is the type of high-quality touch that isn’t available to diners elsewhere. That level of dedication to exceptional ingredients will set our restaurants apart.”

Of A Kind pays homage to the fresh, bright flavors of Mediterranean and California coastal fare. The menu features madeto- order pitas, hearth-fired meats, fresh salads, light pastas, and unique hummus plates. The beverage menu stars herbaceous and playful renditions of classic cocktails, a selection of local beers, and easy-drinking wines. Also, if you’re looking for ambience, Of A Kind’s vibrant playlist creates a light, airy atmosphere, with high-quality products from local purveyors that punctuate soulful dishes.

OAK Market is the casual companion to the property’s full-service restaurant and provides an all-day eatery for inspired cuisine, freshly pressed juices, Little Owl coffee, and Smith + Cannon ice cream. The on-site “market” makes grab-and-go easy for those on the run with fresh pastries daily, vegetable and grain salads, charcuterie and cheese boards, flatbreads, and more. In the nice weather, grab a casual seat indoors or on the patio and people-watch for hours. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Note: Clayton’s much-anticipated cocktail lounge Five Nines is scheduled to open sometime this Fall.
