Most Important Feature of a Dream Home:
For me, natural light is absolutely essential. It has this magical ability to transform spaces and uplift moods, making any house feel warm and inviting. I love how light can highlight textures and colors, creating an ever-changing atmosphere throughout the day.

Top Trend You’re Excited to See in Home Design:
I’m particularly excited about the growing emphasis on wellness in design. More and more, homes are incorporating elements that promote mental and physical well-being— like natural materials, calming colors, and layouts that encourage mindfulness. It’s thrilling to see how design can positively impact our lives.

Most Underrated Design Element in a Home:
I think texture often gets overlooked, but it can make a huge difference in a space. Adding layers of texture can transform a flat design into something dynamic and inviting. It creates depth and can evoke emotion, making a room feel lived-in and cozy.

Favorite Outdoor Spot in Denver to Get Design Inspiration:
The Denver Botanic Gardens is one of my favorite spots. It’s a serene oasis where I can immerse myself in nature and draw inspiration from its colors and textures. The way different plants and flowers interact is a reminder of how nature can inform our design choices.

Best Place for a Quick Escape from the City: Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is my go-to escape. It offers incredible hiking trails and natural scenery. It’s the perfect place to recharge.

Most Scenic Drive in Denver for Inspiration: Driving along the Peak to Peak Highway is one of my favorite routes. The breathtaking views of the Rockies are awe-inspiring and serve as a constant reminder of nature’s beauty.

What’s the Next Big Trend in Denver’s Home Design Scene: I see a rise in smart home technology being seamlessly integrated with sustainable practices. This not only enhances comfort and efficiency but also aligns with our growing awareness of environmental responsibility. It’s exciting to think about how technology can create smarter, more livable spaces.

Favorite Room in a Home to Design or Build: The kitchen holds a special place in my heart. It’s truly the heart of the home—a space where functionality meets aesthetics. Designing a kitchen is about creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that brings people together, and I love that challenge.

Where to Take Out-of- Town Clients for a Taste of Denver: I always take them to Union Station. Its historic charm combined with diverse dining options gives a perfect glimpse into Denver’s culinary scene. Plus, the vibrant atmosphere is contagious, making it a great introduction to the city.

Denver’s Most Defining Design Trait: I think the seamless blend of historic architecture with modern design really defines Denver. It’s a beautiful representation of how we honor our past while embracing the future, showcasing the city’s evolution in a compelling way.
