Servings 1

  • 1-2 Tbsp. Herb Mayo
  • 4-6 oz. sliced turkey
  • 3 strips bacon (cooked)
  • 3 slices tomato
  • ¼ c. lettuce
  • 2 slices fresh-baked sourdough bread
Herb Mayo
  • 12 oz. mayo
  • 1 tsp. parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp. chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp. rosemarry (finely chopped)
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Herb Mayo
  • In a medium-sized bowl combine mayo, parsley, chives, and rosemary. Mix to combine and add salt and pepper to adjust seasoning as needed. The Herb Mayo can be stored for up to a week in the fridge.
The Turkey Club
  • Toast bread and set aside to cool slightly. Place your turkey on the bread followed by bacon, tomato, and lettuce on top of it. Spread 1–2 Tbsp. of the Herb Mayo on the top slice of bread and close the sandwich up. Slice in half and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks
  • Magic Mayo: You can use whatever fresh herbs you love or have around to make a special sauce. Leven recommends parsley, chives, and rosemary.
  • The Meat of It: For the main ingredient, Leven recommends hickory smoked sliced turkey.
  • Plump It Up: Splurge on some great tomatoes, especially from farmers markets as they come into season. Add a sprinkle of salt to your tomato before placing it on the sandwich to bring out the flavor.
  • Doughlicious: High-quality bread is a must, and Leven’s freshly baked sourdough makes the perfect foundation for your sandwich.
  • Billionaires’ Bacon: Put your uncooked bacon in a cold nonstick pan with ¼ c. water and turn the heat on to medium. Let it cook until the water has evaporated and you’ll have perfectly crispy strips.
