Ever since the devastating Marshall Fire in Boulder, Artifact Uprising has assisted their friends, neighbors and community by utilizing our very own state. With the help of some incredible Colorado-based photographers, the local digital photo company was able to pull together its resources to give back.

“As someone who grew up in Boulder County, I am so proud of the way our community has rallied to support and encourage one another,” explains Senior Marketing Manager Morgan Kois. “The Marshall fire swept through so quickly, and I’m grateful my friends and family were able to evacuate. I personally know so many people impacted by the devastation, who are now focused on rebuilding their lives. Artifact Uprising is honored to support our community in this small way.”

Giving Back

To raise money, the team organized the Prints for Colorado Fire Relief Fundraiser by curating ten beautiful images of Colorado by local photographers. The event raised $12,525 in which 100% of the profits were donated to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Since the fundraiser was such a success, Artifact Uprising has decided to continue its philanthropy efforts by giving back to other natural disaster victims. Their policy moving forward is to help anyone who has been affected by a natural disaster like a wildfire or flood by replacing their custom Artifact Uprising creations free of charge.

“As a Denver-based organization, Colorado and its community is in our DNA, and while there have been no shortage of natural disasters nationwide in recent years, the Marshall Fire hits all too close to home,” adds CEO Brad Kopitz. “We believe no one should lose their photos to a natural disaster. So, if your Artifact Uprising creation was lost or damaged in a natural disaster, wherever you live, we will replace it for you no questions asked.”
