Five course dinner benefiting World Central Kitchen with Uchi RiNo

Between the wildfires burning across Colorado and devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, people are looking for ways to help. The teams at Uchiko Cherry Creek and Uchi RiNo feel the same way and are hosting a special one-night dinner benefiting World Central Kitchen. Proceeds will support WCK’s work both locally through Colorado wildfire relief, and globally through the response to the disaster in Venezuela.

The dinner will take place outdoors in the garden, with five courses served under the summer sky. Chefs and staff from both restaurants, led by Uchiko Chef de Cuisine Andres Araujo, will be cooking and working side by side for the night, starting guests off with specialties like a Venezuela Libre cocktail (burnt cinnamon syrup, lime, mint, rum) and moving through dishes like an octopus and scallop crudo, arepas, and a grilled steak with papelon tamari demiglace, closing with bienmesabe, a coconut custard dessert with vanilla cake and cocoa meringue. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to WCK, and guests can give even more on site through a QR code at the table. Seating is limited to two seatings to keep the evening intimate.
