Prism Artist Studios Opens Its Doors for an Evening Celebrating Denver’s Creative Community
Open Studios returns Friday, August 28 from 5:00–9:00 PM with artist demonstrations, local makers, live music, food trucks, and behind-the-scenes access to one of Denver’s largest creative communities. DENVER, CO — On Friday, August 28, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Prism Artist Studios invites the public inside its historic creative campus for Open Studios, a free evening celebrating the artists, designers, and makers who call Prism home. Prism Artist Studios is home to more than 70 working studios occupied by painters, sculptors, photographers, fiber artists, furniture designers, jewelers, illustrators, ceramicists, product designers, and creative entrepreneurs. Open Studios offers visitors the rare opportunity to explore these working spaces, meet the artists behind the work, and experience the creative process firsthand. Throughout the evening, guests can wander the studios at their own pace, discover original artwork, shop directly from local artists, enjoy live music, and grab dinner from local food trucks while connecting with one of Denver’s most vibrant creative communities. More than an art walk, Open Studios celebrates the people, ideas, and collaborations that shape Colorado’s creative landscape. Visitors will experience a dynamic mix of emerging talent and established artists working across a wide range of disciplines, all within a collaborative environment that has supported Denver’s creative economy for decades. “We believe creativity thrives in community,” says the Prism Artist Studios team. “Open Studios gives people a chance to experience that community in an authentic way by meeting artists where they create, hearing their stories, and seeing the work in progress.
