Welcome to the no-nonsense era of wellness. No crystals, no guesswork—just science, strategy, and serious results. At Eden Health Club, a new biohacking hub in Greenwood Village, the approach is simple: test, don’t guess. Step inside the sleek storefront and you’ll find a full spectrum of modern wellness. Red light saunas glow beside an IV lounge; treatment rooms host consultations and facials. A state-of-the-art gym and a busy calendar of classes round out the space, making Eden as much about movement and recovery as it is about diagnostics.
Heading it up is Dr. Christina Matheus-Lozano, Eden’s lead nurse practitioner and functional medicine expert with a background in critical care and a passion for whole-body healing. Whether it’s peptide therapy, hormone replacement, medical weight loss, custom workout plans, or IV drips, she’s helping people trade burnout for balance. We caught up with her to talk about combating seasonal sluggishness, starting your wellness journey, and why the best workouts are rooted in data, not trends. Here’s what she had to share.
Eden offers some powerful biohacking tools from peptide therapy to hormone optimization. Where should someone start if they’re curious but unsure? “We start by understanding each patient’s wellness goals so we can tailor the right solutions for real results, followed by a functional wellness consultation. That includes a preliminary comprehensive blood draw and an InBody composition scale that provides data on BMI, percent body fat and visceral fat, skeletal muscle mass, hydration levels, and metabolic rate.”
What can people do to maintain mood, motivation, and immunity as energy dips in the winter? “Targeted support through nutraceutical supplementation—whether that is oral supplementation versus IV infusions and wellness injections—can make a real difference. Vitamin D3, vitamin C, a methylated B complex, and zinc are essential during the wintertime to help stabilize mood, support the immune system, and boost energy levels, especially in Colorado.”
Eden isn’t just about diagnostics—you also have a serious fitness component with an on-site gym and a full schedule of classes. How does your training philosophy complement the medical side? “Our fitness component is built to complement our clinical side by translating diagnostic data into movement. We can customize workout plans to target insulin resistance, cardiovascular health, or mental well-being.”
Do you have a favorite workout that you recommend during the colder months? “Yes, I definitely recommend people try our mat pilates class. It’s a fantastic way to stay active while focusing on stretching, core strength, and functional movement—all of which are especially important when we’re more sedentary in winter. It’s low-impact but highly effective for keeping the body mobile, aligned, and energized.”
