The 2025 Audi Q7

A midsize luxury SUV that handles more like a sports car, Audi’s Q7 mixes a fast and furious character with stylish refinements. Upgrade to a 500-horsepower variant—if you dare.

While many upsized SUVs are as pleasurable to drive as a three-bedroom house, Audi’s venerable Q7 offers handling, braking, and composure that’s still extraordinary after twenty years. The 2025 model has a slightly simplified face and body, new exhaust tips, and an optional blackout package that gives the Q7 an even stealthier presence.

It would not be an Audi without a load of power under the hood, and the action starts with a 261-hp 2.0-liter turbo version called the 45 TFSI. But it’s the 55 TFSI, a turbocharged 335-hp 3.0-liter V6, that can put the Q7 into orbit. Most drivers will find the V6 more than enough to make the 5,000-pound machine twist and turn like a vehicle half its size, with the added all-season confidence of Quattro all-wheel drive. If that’s not enough, consider the relentless 500-hp 4.0-liter V8 in the flashier SQ7, a platform shared with the Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, and Bentley Bentayga.

With room for up to seven passengers, Audi goes for sensory overload inside with a double-stacked set of touchscreens, the lower offering semi-haptic climate controls. Both are surrounded by glossy black, chromed, and wood treatments, and there’s sumptuous and supportive leather seating in all three rows. Options include a premium B&O sound system and laser-light headlamps, as well as stylish 21-inch wheels.

The 2025 Q7 offers access to entertainment apps such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube, and includes a three-year trial of services such as the traffic light timer system and over-the-air navigation updates.

Pricing starts at $60,500, with the SQ7 adding a $30,000 premium.
