Starting in 1990 with a role in furniture production in Los Angeles, I laid a solid foundation in the practical aspects of design. Transitioning to Chicago to manage multiple showrooms for Holly Hunt Limited, I gained significant experience in high-end design and client relations.

Since co-founding HW Home with Ron Werner, a business known for our curated collection of exceptional home furnishings, I have worked on a diverse design portfolio encompassing residential dwellings, boutique hotels, vacation clubs, and a residential cruise ship.

What was the overall vision for your space?
I wanted the Dining Room to be an inviting place to gather for an extended period of time. With the floor to ceiling windows open to the yard, it was important to compliment the exterior by brining natural elements into the room.

What’s your favorite thing about your space?
I love how open the Dining Room is to the rest of the home as well as the exterior. Its definitely a room people would want to spend some time in.

What advice would you give to homeowners regarding the key things to keep in mind when designing (your) space?
Whatever room you are furnishing, it is important to buy things you love. Timeless pieces with clean lines never go out of style. Avoid trends and they often don’t stand the test of time.
