Families can head to Gold Crown Field House on Aug. 29 for the Healthy Kids Expo, a free open-house-style event packed with interactive sports clinics, wellness activities, obstacle courses, giveaways, and meet-and-greets with local mascots and athletes. Designed primarily for kids ages 5–14, the family-friendly event encourages youth to explore healthy habits, mental wellness, and sports performance through hands-on games, mini camps, and activities hosted by organizations including Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and Children’s Hospital Colorado.
