Step into Bonez 4 Budz, and you’ll find more than chew toys and treats. Opened in March 2024 by Karina Tittjung, a pet-care visionary with a knack for creative thinking, this innovative shop at Stanley Marketplace is redefining how we nurture our furry companions. “We actually don’t carry any food,” Tittjung says. “Our focus goes beyond basic pet care. We’re here to foster joy and build stronger bonds between animals and their humans.”
Tittjung’s curiosity and devotion to pets sparked the idea for Bonez 4 Budz. “I started exploring ways to engage pets beyond the basics and realized many people weren’t familiar with these concepts,” she says. The shop specializes in products designed to stimulate pets’ natural instincts, such as sniffing, chewing, scavenging, and chasing. Think puzzle toys, lick mats, herding balls, and dental chews that keep pets mentally engaged while satisfying their innate behaviors. These thoughtful options not only address unwanted habits but also help owners connect more deeply with their pets. “Our mission is to find something meaningful for every pet family,” Tittjung says.
Bonez 4 Budz isn’t just about pets—it’s about people, too. The store champions community by prioritizing women-owned, locally made, and sustainably sourced products. It also hosts adoption events, donation drives, and partnerships with local rescues and shelters. More than a pet store, Bonez 4 Budz is a gathering place for pet families and neighbors alike, where every visit strengthens your connection to both your animal and your community.
