A Tribute to Home

From meaningful renovations to the art of getting cozy, this issue celebrates the places and rituals that help us feel settled and at home.

Not to toot my own horn, but when it comes to comfort, I’m a professional. I will unapologetically choose staying warm over looking cool every single time. But I’ve learned that coziness isn’t really about the amount of layers, it’s about the places, people, and little rituals that make you feel settled and safe.

That idea is at the heart of our January Home Issue.

In the issue, our renovation guide is packed with insight for anyone considering a refresh, whether it’s a full gut or the kind of project you can do in a weekend if you start with enough optimism and caffeine. Renovations can be overwhelming, but they also have a way of revealing what really matters: light, flow, and the tiny details that make your home yours.

Then there’s our guide to all things cozy—my personal favorite. It’s a tribute to the spaces that make you feel warm and the conversations and meals that linger late into the night. Home, at its best, is a place that wraps around you. A place where the food tastes better, the people are familiar, and the world feels a little softer.

Here’s to starting the year feeling grounded, comfortable, and right at home.
