A Guide to Colorado’s Can’t Miss Spring Ski Events

From endurance laps to celebrity weekends and beer-fueled après, Colorado’s ski culture comes alive in all its rowdy, sun-soaked glory.

Part ski marathon, part community ritual, the A-Basin Enduro stands as one of Colorado’s storied spring events. On April 8, teams of two spend 10 relentless hours lapping Pallavicini, A-Basin’s legendary double- black terrain, pushing endurance and skill to the limit. The day wraps with an après fundraiser and silent auction, where participants gather over a complimentary beer and chef-prepared dinner, coming together as a community to support a local beneficiary. Equal parts grit and goodwill, Enduro channels A-Basin’s no-frills spirit into a day of skiing with purpose.

American Airlines Celebrity Ski 2026

Each spring, the American Airlines Celebrity Ski weekend returns to Beaver Creek, March 5–8, drawing athletes, entertainers, and philanthropists together in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The four-day gathering pairs world-class skiing with luxe hospitality, from custom-fitted gear and race clinics to evenings of shared meals, cocktail receptions, and a private concert. Set against Beaver Creek’s alpine backdrop, the weekend balances high-altitude glamour with a mission-driven focus, supporting care and research for those living with cystic fibrosis.

Spring skiing meets craft beer at BrewSki on March 7, when Frisco Nordic Center hosts its annual celebration of snow, hops, and Summit County flavor. Participants ski or snowshoe a scenic Nordic course in playful costumes, with prizes awarded for the most creative looks. Along the way, Colorado breweries pour trailside tastings before the day wraps with music, local food, and a festive après atmosphere focused more on savoring the season than speed. Think fewer race clocks and more raised pints, with an easygoing mountain-town vibe throughout.
