For Denver mom and maker Daisy Adams, the story of Ollu began at home—with her two children, Olivia and Matteo. When Matteo was little, he mispronounced his sister’s name as “Ollu,” and the sweet nickname stuck. Now a children’s clothing line defined by soft neutrals, timeless cuts, and subtle, meaningful details, each piece feels both modern and nostalgic—a reflection of Daisy’s belief that kids’ clothes can be as stylish as they are sentimental.
Inspired by her Mexican heritage, Daisy hand-embroiders her 100% cotton sweaters, a craft she learned from her grandmother at age 12. “In Mexico, we’d embroider kitchen towels with a little flower or fruit,” she recalls. “Now it’s a special part of my business, where clients can request exactly what they want the sweater to say or look like.”
Ollu’s palette leans warm and versatile—earthy tones and muted pastels that work across seasons and siblings. “I love the idea that a piece can be handed down, from girl to boy or brother to sister,” Daisy says. “Kids grow fast, but quality lasts—and those photos from their early years, you’ll keep forever.” The brand offers a mix of soft sweaters, tailored corduroys, and effortless one-pieces, all finished with charming accessories.
You can find Ollu at Ro + Fern in Aspen, as well as at pop-up markets around Denver while they are in season, such as the Cherry Creek Fresh Market. Or shop the full collection—including holiday sweaters featuring candy canes and reindeer faces—at shopollu.com.
