The Journeyman Cocktail
An unapologetically fresh and floral take on the margarita.
Ingredients

oz.
Blanco tequila

oz.
Cocchi americano
1
oz.
Monkey Shoulder scotch
1
oz.
pineapple juice
1
oz.
lime juice
2
oz.
Thai basil green tea syrup
Thai basil green tea syrup

c.
water
2
c.
sugar
1
Tbsp.
jasmine green tea
1
Tbsp.
dried lemongrass powder

fresh Thai basil leaves
Directions
Add all ingredients in a mixing tin and shake.
Strain into a double old-fashioned glass over fresh ice and garnish with pineapple frond and Thai basil.
Thai basil green tea syrup
Combine 2 c. water and 2 c. sugar in sauce pan and bring to simmer.
Remove from heat.
Add 1 Tbsp. jasmine green tea, 1 Tbsp. dried lemongrass powder, and 5 fresh Thai basil leaves.
Cover and steep for 10 mins. Strain through fine strainer and put into container.
