The Same Plate: An Evening in Honduras
You’re invited! On Monday, January 17th for an exciting evening in Honduras, brought to you by The Same Plate, creator of curated cultural food experiences; Chef Edwin Sandoval’s Xatrucho Concepts, a modern yet authentic take on Honduran cuisine; and Enigma Bazaar, Denver’s new mystical art bar.
About The Same Plate: The Same Plate connects communities through curated, global food events that are delivered locally. Through group dinners, group or individual cooking experiences, or curated recipe boxes sent directly to your door, The Same Plate creates spaces for people of all identities and backgrounds to explore, eat, think, talk and connect.
About Edwin and Xatrucho Concepts: Honduras-born and Colorado-raised, Edwin Sandoval is a modern multicultural creator of food. Chef Sandoval spent 12 years moving through the ranks of professional Denver kitchens, such as Le Grand Bistro and Oyster Bar, Spuntino, and Beatrice and Woodsley. Now, he owns and operates Xatrucho, a premier cooking concept in Denver that brings together the essence of classical, old-school cooking techniques, and blends in Latin flavor profiles. Xatrucho’s unique and memorable Honduran dishes are made 100% from scratch, with ingredients sourced from local farms.
About Enigma Bazaar: Enigma Bazaar is a mystical, immersive arts bar and performance venue, serving innovative, fresh, seasonal cocktails and a 100% from scratch Latin-inspired menu (Xatrucho). Home to all kinds of artistic expressions from live music, performance art, dance, and film to theatre, circus, magic, and tarot/astrology readings, Enigma Bazaar is located in the historic Berkeley-Regis neighborhood of Denver, and although the Enigma concept is new, the building has been around since 1926, and has been a home to bars, live music, and Denver creativity for decades.
